I'm trying to run a macro within a macro from my text.mac file. I tried various syntax with no avail. Can someone help out? Also, if there is reference for all the Macro commands that would be really helpful too.

Are you asking about macros for an iSeries Access PComm terminal emulator? Or are you using a different emulator? . For PComm, use the 'Help' that's available in the 'Macro/Script...'-> 'Customize...' function. All macro commands are listed and described, including how to reference another macro or script. . For a different emulator, you'd need to either tell us what you're using so we might know where to look or reference the product's documentation. . Tom

Just an FYI... I'm using a 5250 emulator and recorded a macro using "Macro File". This emulator is going to an iSeries. I thought that maybe a "Call" function or "Playmacro" would call another macro within myC:\Users\name\desktop folder. I tried using the Help functionality but I'm getting directed to Windows Help and Support. I did find a site that contains a lot of functions but they work for VB macros. It is: http://www.esker.com/solutions/host_access/smarterm/bin1211/macro.pdf in case someone else is interested. Any ideas on just a Macro File would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m using a 5250 emulator...
    .
Yes, but which emulator? There is no good answer possible until we know the name of the emulator product or at least the vendor.
    .
Also, what function are you running when you request 'help'? It sounds like you're in the midst of editing a VB macro. If so, then 'help' should always give Windows help rather than "macro" help. VB is a Windows product.
