Taking care of it ourselves was becoming a full time job! They guarantee 95% reduction in SPAM and 100% blocking of email viruses. However, it was expensive per seat. I moved us to Sunbelt Software's Ninja and it works pretty well. I like the way it dumps the spam into the user's Spam Quarantine box and lets the user decide if it's spam. It helps cut down on the false positives. We started out with Symantec email antispam. In part an onsite solution might feel more secure but with some of the spam filtering of Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007, we're running smoothly.
