Note that I have four systems here (technically six) with three different OSes that neither Knoppix nor the HP toolset will help with. Without knowing the OS or more about the system, which an IT pro should supply, it’s a guess. — Tom

There are several things that you can use to unlock the admin password – Knoppix is a Linux based OS that can be installed on a CD and this can do it…. HP have their own and there are more.These will allow you to change the password…. but Note normally the Admin password does not lock out and you just dont know the password. These tools will allow you to change the password not know what it is.

When what locked? What computer? What is the OS? How do you know it’s “locked”? What happened? What did you see that made you think anything was “locked”? — Tom
