In the application I'm developing I need to present the user with a splash screen. In that splash screen I used an animated spinning wheel gif image to let the user know that he/she has to wait. But when I insert the gif and run the application the splash screen displays but the gif only animates(spins) for about half seconds and then stops animating. But when I previewed the gif using Windows picture and fax viewer it keeps animating. How do I make it animate until the splash screen closes? please help

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Haven’t you tried with a different image?

I made some tests, and wasn’t able to replicate your problem. Every animated gift I have displayed in a PictureBox control animates continuously, without any special change to its settings.

I made a test with the following image, and it worked for me. Could you try with it?

Did you set the time interval right? Or did the created gif is incompatible with the application?
