ALTPAGEUP/DOWN CF Indicator Question

RPG, DDS, DSPF

I have (in DSPF) ALTPAGEUP/ALTPAGEDOWN as CF04 and CF05.

Are you not able to use CF04 or CF05 elsewhere?

example:
screen1 subfile...F4/F5 = PageUp/Down
screen2 F4=prompt F5=deliver

the program doesn't "seem" to recognize the F5 (or F4) on Screen2.
There is another program that does this exact same thing and it works.
Am I missing something?
I read in the DDS Programming Guide that you can't describe the same CFxx if it's already used for ALTPAGEUP/DWN.

Thanks

Hi,

The ALTPAGEUP and ALTPAGEDOWN keywords are at file level, not at record level so I suspect that once you've defined the ALTPAGEUP or ALTPAGEDOWN that these function keys will get translated as PAGEUP or PAGEDOWN for the whole display file.

Regards,

Martin Gilbert.
