 alternatives to adobe
Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives to adobe professional that match some of the features, specifically with the manipulation, creation, etc. of pdf documents?

Answer Wiki:
OpenOffice.org allows you to export or 'print' PDFs. Editing PDFs.. well I don't know of anything that gives you all the features of Acrobat.

Try FoxIt software (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/). Its a lot lighter in terms of processing, faster loads and a lot cheaper. Lots of functionality too.
