In SST Service Action Log AJDG301, is registered due to abnormal IPL. What is this exactly and how do I resolve it? While Google says LIC is the failing item and applying PTF is the solution?

It’s a LIC module. If you need to know exactly what it is, you need to ask IBM. There’s nothing you can do with it.

There should be a SRC associated with the log entry. Search for V5R4 PTFs for that SRC, download and apply them. That’s what you do about it.

Tom,Same i had discussed with IBM where they said,It occurs bcz of abnormal shut down of the system. Since it is not an Hardware Failure we can close and delete it and turn off the LED. - Rajesh

It occurs bcz of abnormal shut down of the system.

If there is no PTF called out for a SRC, then that’s as good an explanation as any. The log entry would simply be to note the abnormal IPL. I assume that you know why the abnormal IPL happened…?
