Adobe Creative Suite requires a lot of processing power and RAM. I work in the graphic design department for a commercial printer. We recently upgraded our desktop machines (Mac & PC) to CS6. My machine as 16 GB of RAM and a 3.?ghz processor. It loads CS6 programs quickly without crashing. I suggest looking over Adobe's minimum requirements for CS6 and buying a machine above that requirement. High-end and gaming laptops would certainly have the power to run Adobe Creative Suite with ease.

Apple is designed to do graphic and audio editing. Also I would go with a 64 bit machine because it can handle more RAM. Processing power is important, look at processing speed. Also take into account the number of cores, the more cores the merrier. Check out the ADOBE site and look and compair the requirments needed to run program.

it depends alot on your budget and yes with 8 or 16gb of ram and maybe i5 or i7 cpu then you will be good and things will load faster. do take note youw ill need to run x64 to be able to see the 8 or 16gb of ram
