I recommend the following book http://www.course.com/catalog/product.cfm?isbn=978-0-619-21743-3. I used its counterpart to study for the CompTIA Security+ exam prior to sitting for it. There is a companion CD that comes with the book that contains practice exams. My approach to studying for exams is to study the material and then take practice exams until I score 90% or higher before sitting for the actual exam. This hasn't failed me yet. Holding out to achieve 90% or higher may take slightly longer but it is well above the minimum passing score for most exams and will help you not only pass but get the best score possible.
