Take a look at my blog entry on my experience with a data center move. The key is plan, review and plan again. Begin the execution weeks in advance of the actual data center go-live date. Test what you can before the go-live. Test failover before go-live if possible. Don't implement new & unproven technologies to your organization. You won't know if the service is failing due to a bad product or lack of skills and knowledge on your team. Good luck and let us know how things go.
