adprep /forestprep error

Hi i'm testing 2008 server in a 2003 domain and want to promote the 2008 server to a domain contoller. i run adprep /forestprep and get the following error any help appriciated. Regards Nick. Adprep was unable to update forest information. [Status/Consequence] Adprep requires access to existing forest-wide information from the schema maste r in order to complete this operation. [User Action] Check the log file, ADPrep.log, in the C:WINDOWSdebugadpreplogs200806040938 14 directory for more information. error part of log file as full log file is massive.
