There is at last a growing open Source community on i5. What measures should be taken before adopting any open source and allowing it inside the firewall?

Hi, IMHO, any Open Source on i5 must have source and a quick (expert) review of it can give you an idea of quality and security. The author is a good point of reference too. When you take a software from Scott Klement's site you can be pretty sure it will not have any obscure or unsafe code. Wilson
