Hello, Is it possible to put an Adobe PDF file on a USB drive and "lock down" the document so that it it cannot be printed, copied or downloaded to another computer. In other words, we need the document be only opened and viewed on the USB drive. Thank you, D. Tibbs

D. Tibbs, Adobe does have built in security were you can set the document not to print, as far as not being moved from the USB drive I do not think that this is possible, unless you change the users permissions not to be able to write to the C Drive.
On the document depending on which version you are using, I am using 8.0, go to Advanced and Security, then Select Show Security Properties, you can make those changes there.

Hope this helps.

I know this may be a step in the wrong direction, but you can set all those permissions in Word. You can create the document and then protect it so it is only readable. Speaking of read-only, you might want to save the PDF to the USB key, then right click it and select read only. About the moving permissions, I'm not so sure.
