hello, i use Win XP Pro SP2. i have user in administrator group, but i want to disable this user change desktop properties. how can i do it? thanks.

from run, gpedit.msc. in the group policy editor (this will only apply to the local machine), go to user configuration, administrative templates, control panel, display. Enable elements as you see fit. Note, no user will be able to make changes unless the policy is reset to mot configured.

    you can't filter the policy locally that I am aware of but in AD you can filter the policy by OU, group, user, etc
