Admin Left, How do i get control?
Our Lotus Notes Admin left and I am tasked to manage it. As more issues pile in I am still baffled by gaining access. I finally got the Lotus Notes 6.5, Domino Admin, and Designer installed but I don't have permissions to do anything. I have access to the server directly if needed but I am completely new to Lotus Notes.
How can I gain the needed permissions?

You have to grant yourself access via the Server Docs in the Admin Client go into the CONFIGURATION tab and look at the server docs for your servers. You will need to grant yourself FULL-ACCESS in order to start working on it. Everything in Lotus is attached to your ID file, so if you have his old ID file and password you would log on that way and edit the server docs. The best thing to do would be to find a local consultant and have them come help out. Lotus911 could help with that.

Basically anyplace I see previous employee name replace it or add mine?
Um at this time I don’t have previous login or password.
If I am lucky I will not have to do much with this system besides a few basic issues.
so… we have Time Card, is there a admin view? I noticed that some employees have different settings available. for example, payroll sees everything waiting for them to approve. I have a issue where they mark complete and it stays in queue. Log says action was marked complete. do you know where i should start? this is the last question.
I will let you know if I need your assistance with finding someone. I have to discuss with boss and see where we stand.
