IS your new server 2003 R2? If so, then your error is correct. There are additional schema for the R2 version that must be applied to bring it to schema level 31.

This way I had tried to configure ADC on windows2003 Standard ed. The following error comes

“The version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of Active Directory on this computer.”

I have a doubt here, My domain controller is windows 2003 Sp2. Still its showing schema version 30!
Is this the cause for the initial error message?

Please help
