 Adding Windows Firewalls to all computers via group policy
How can I add Windows Firewall rules to each computer via group policy? We have a new application that needs a port open both ways. What is the easiest way to do this? Windows 2003 Server, Vista desktops.

To enable Windows Firewall in a domain environment, the Group Policy setting you would use is located in: Computer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesNetworkNetwork ConnectionsWindows FirewallDomain Profile. The setting is called Windows Firewall: Protect all network connections. For more detailed information on configuration check out this article <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490626.aspx">here</a>. It refers to XP but will work with Vista and 7 boxes as well.
