Sure, first buy at least 2GB of the precise type of memory used by your system. (You might need more if you must replace existing memory that is already occupying slots or if you touch the memory chips in the wrong way when handling them. This might be true for each system that you'll upgade. And of course, if the system cannot accept an additional 2GB, you don't need to buy it in the first place.)   Then, open the PC enough to access memory slots. Unlatch and remove memory if you need to free up slots. Then insert the new memory into the slots, and be sure to latch them properly. (I've damaged latches a couple times myself.)   As for "how" to open or to locate or to unlatch or to remove or to insert or to latch... well, that can be different for every PC you see; so it can't be simply told to you.   Tom
