Does anyone know how I can use VBA to take one value from one table and add to it a value from another table and then put that total into one field of the original table. I've been fighting with this for a couple of days so now i am looking for some help.

Software/Hardware used:
Access 2003 and VBA 2003

There are a couple reasonable possibilities that depend on the two tables. Please show how you SELECT from each of them and show an example UPDATE statement. The UPDATE can simply assume a variable value. From those, either suggestions can be made or appropriate questions can be asked to get to suggestions. -- Tom
