My SQL table contains about 80 columns; it is a reporting database, so I update this table data daily from an application database. I need to add 20 more columns, but when I add for the present job, it is not completing. The present job logic is using a permanent table to get all the records at a time and later updating the ones already there and inserting any that are new. Is there any other way to handle this job?
