 Adding an IP Subnet to a VLan on L3 Switch
I need help adding an IP subnet to a Vlan, when I attempt to by using the IP address X.X.X.X 255.255... it gives me an error saying it overlaps another VLAN. is there another way to do this? I am on a 3750 cisco switch, IP routing is turned on. Please help!!! thanks in advance.

Can you provide the IP address statement you are trying to use together with the configuration of the VLAN interface IOS is reporting you are overlapping with. Basically the error message is telling you that you are doing something wrong in configuration. As an example you cannot configure vlan 1 with an ip address of 1.1.1.1/24 and then vlan 2 with an ip address of 1.1.1.2/24 as they are in the same subnet.
