I want to add a computer to a network printer but the computer is 64 bits and the printer is 32 bits. Please, what could be done?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Download and install the 64-bit driver for the printer. If this is an old printer, check with the manufacturer to see if they have a 64-bit driver.

Install the printer driver for the type of device u want to install. Now share the printer and make sure it is working.... Here u from 32bit client log with admin rights and browse printer server shares, & type as: \printservername then go to printers and faxes....." & select connect to the printer & it complains that does not have necessary drivers to follow to install the same. Now install required 32bit driver. Here u have to enable this in printer properties. In the queue wind that opens for u go to printerproperties.....additional drivers & enable the option which tells as intel windows 2000 or xp for XP, but if u using 7 client u may click change sharing options then click additional drivers. This is the general procedures, though u did not mention here, OS name / ver / printer model / make / spec etc. etc..... If u have time see here more info
