Add a custom field to “project tasks” in Sharepoint?

Using the IT Team Workspace, we are tracking tasks using the "Project Tasks" list. I've added 2 custom fields to this list but they don't show up in the add/edit forms. I can only edit them through the datasheet view. What am I doing wrong?
