 ActiveSync errors when Moving mailboxes to different Exchange 2003 server

We are trying to move our mailboxes to a different server because of hardware issues on the current one. (Exchange Server 2003)
However, when we move mailboxes to the other server, it causes ActiveSync errors on our Windows 7 phones.
Does anyone have a work-around for this issue?

I have not seen this issue with mailbox moves we have done. Are the errors persistent and do not go away? Or are they temporary lasting only a while after the move?
