You need to use a cert which is signed by a company which your phone trusts. Any of the major cert companies can sell you one.

Thanks - I forgot to mention that the organisation I work in doesn’t have a fully qualified domain name. When I install the signed certificate what will I need to add in the Domain field on the mobile handset.

Thanks

That isn’t making any sense to me. If you are using Exchange then you have to have MX records, and to have MX recods in DNS you have to have a FQDN. Do you not send and receive email from external email addresses?

If you can access exchange from the public internet you have to has a public DNS for it. That’s the name you should be using.
