 Active directory will not let me add email accounts when creating users
when i try to create new accounts on my domain in active directory I can make them but my active directory skips the step that allows me to add them to my exchange server and make the email account. i just installed active directory on this computer and i am able to make email account/ user accounts on other computers with active directory. Yhank you for your help

Answer Wiki:
Install the Exchange Client tools from the Exchange CD. Run the exchange server intallation, but do a custom install and install only the administrative tools.

Please tell us what version of Exchange you are using. If it is 2007 or 2010 you have to create the accounts on the Exchange Server, not in AD.

ah no all i did was install the Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack and try to create accounts where do i find the exchange client tools. thank you for all your help i am normaly a RF communications tech but i’m deployed in afghanistan now and there is no one else to do all this so im just trying to figure it all out.
