Have you done any basic troubleshooting? For example, have you ensure that both NIC are working, no yellow splat in the device manager? Have you attempted to ping the loopback or 127.0.0.1. Can you ping any other computer on the subnet? Can you ping the gateway? Can you ping 4.2.2.2 to ensure that you can talk outside?

Check out Acronis’ TrueImage Echo Server product…it has a feature to let you restore an image to a system running on different hardware.
