How do I backup Active Directory and DNS without performing a full system state backup?

Unfortunately don’t think there is a way to backup Active Directory successfully (recoverable) without backing up the system state. As per DNS, it would depends on how if it’s a standalone or integrated. If integrated with AD, you would need to backup system state as well for recoverability. If standalone, you can use with the DNS GUI and “export” function or the command line “dnscmd”. Example syntax for dnscmd is “dnscmd server /enumrecords zonename @ /type A /detail > c:\mydnsbackup.txt”
