Can you backup your AD schema? What is best practice for backing up Active Directory 2003? Is there any difference in backing up 2008?

As far I know, Volume shadow copy is the best tool to take backup for this purpose. In windows 2008, u may use WBADMIN tool.

    Windows 2003 has ntbackup tool to take backup and windows 2008 has WBADMIN tool to take backup. there r no concept of nt backup process....
