Microsoft Windows XP

I have Windows XP installed on my PC with some application (shared) running on that PC, I would like to make a clone of this PC using Acronis Backup & Recovery. After booting with Acronis Bootable in the source column my Local HDD doesn’t show up, I can only see the external HDD. What could be the reason, In the BIOS both the HDD are detected. Even when I login with Windows XP both the drives are displayed. Please help.

Software/Hardware used:
Acronis Backup & Recovery

Guessing the reason behind is acronis does not have drivers for the respective hardware/ there is hardware malfunction/specifics due to which acronis modules can't get access to the device OR problem is drive does not have a valid mbr/ 3rd party sw is blocking access to hard disk drives ! u can try to un install any non-acronis backup sw installed/ try temporarily disabling it. or If there is any antivirus sw, try temporarily disabling it.
If all will not work properly, collect a system report and contact to here (www.acronis.com/en-us/support/) for acronis support.
