I have a designation in Management Accountant and have 10 years experience working in a Telecom industry focusing on Performance Management. My role has been slightly involving along the years, from gathering the data to developing it as a dashboard (all using excel only). I was told recently by my boss that I'll be focusing on BI for the team (strategic, not technical side obviously) for the team. I have very little knowledge about BI and somehow confused about the titles such as BI, BI Analyst (how does it different from a Business Analyst). I'm planning to read more books on BI (like BI for dummies) Are there any ideas or recommendations that you have for me to start in terms of gaining more knowledge in this field considering my management background? Online courses? Certifications? Books?
