Install the iseries client on the server and create a linked server to the AS/400. You can use the store procedure sp_addlinkedserver to create your linked server sp_addlinkedserver @server = 'linked server name', @srvproduct = 'linked server name', @provider = 'IBMDA400', @datasrc = 'IP address of your AS/400', @provstr = 'catalog library list=library names', @catalog = 'database name' To access your data: SELECT * FROM linked server name.database name.owner name.object name
