How can computers on a local network use Remote Web Workplace (RWW) and also access a sharepoint website via a browser or otherwise on SBS 2003 premium R2 on the same LAN without joining the domain on the SBS 2003 server?
Reason is that company A is trying to have its own network for data and business security but its partner company B whom they share a network with said it's all or nothing; essentially that company A will have to remove all their computers from company B's network/domain. But since they share data and other email domains it is impossible. So company A is compelled to remain on company B's network until further notice while they are still able to access their internal data on the new server. Company A's remote workers can access RWW with no issues but we need to find a RWW local access solution for company A users.

Hello PMiller,
Thanx for the prompt response. That’s what I thought. I have not being able to try it out though since I have not being onsite for a week or so. I am on my way to the client’s, when I try it out I will post my results here. Thanx.
Your welcome and yes, please let us know your status when you try it.
Paul
I successfully used https://www.serverLANipaddress/remote on the same LAN without joining the domain. RWW obviously loaded even faster than it does over the internet, and sharepoint was no problem from that point. Thanx again.
