Are all the drives that you want to access being shared, also what OS are you running, if it is Windows XP check the firewall to make sure that you are allowing File and Print Sharing, what type of error do you receive?

Thanks for the extra info.

Since you did not provide the workstation’s OS, I will discuss this from XP. In a workgroup, each workstation must have the exact user name AND password before you can connect to shares. For example
Workstation 1 Jon Password1 and Jim Password2
Workstation 2
For user Jon to connect to this workstation, there must be a local user account called Jon with Password1, Jim would not be authorized to connect because Workstation 2 does not contain a Jim account with Password2

I would also turn off Simple File Sharing. IF you do not use passwords, XP prevents connections. You can enable the GUEST account – AT YOUR OWN RISK.
