Hello,

I’m a bit unclear as to what your trying to do. We use RDP to connect to a W2K Pro server and have no trouble accessing resources from the HDD whether logged on using a domain or a local account.

Have you checked permissions on the drive? Possibly there are restrictive permissions set that are preventing access to resources based on your user account. NTFS permissions still apply whether logged on interactivley or through a TS session.

Maybe post some additional information which might help everyone better understand your problem.

Good luck!

The problem I am having is accessing the local drive of the client connecting to the server. There is no problem with accessing the drives on the server but we need to be able to transfer files to the client computers hdd.

I do what you're referring to on a regular basis. Before you connect, click the options button on the remote connection dialog. Go to the Local Resources tab and click the box for hard drives (it's named differently by version). Then connect and you should see both the client's and server's drives within Windows Explorer.

I have tried enabling local Hard Disks in the client connection but they still do not appear in the terminal session.
