We've been using Access 2003 for a while and are now changing over to 2007. At the same time, I am creating a new report to replace a report we've used in a database successfully for several years. I open the new report, and it looks perfect on screen, then I print it using the printer icon. The printer totally freezes up, to the point I have to turn it off and back on. I took out most of the labels, text boxes, lines, etc, trying to zero in on which item is causing the problem. Haven't quite determined that yet, but this question has to do with the print version coming out different than the screen version even when it works. For instance, I have a label on the report with the caption "Application Date:" In the print version, it says "Application ate:" with the "D" missing. In another label, there is a lower case d that prints out as a strange little symbol or something. Any guesses on where to look to find why the print version is not matching the screen version?
