Access Proxy Serve in win2003 server
Windows Server 2003, Proxy servers
Hi this firoj,

i want to know how to user proxy server in win2003 server for internet .

Becouse if same proxy server ip i put in any client system then internet is working fine .But through same proxy server ip is not working in win 2003 server.

i need to run any services in that system or i need to installe any software.

If the server is the proxy server as well then for the proxy IP you may try entering 127.0.0.1 so it will resolve locally before it touches the network line.

You might want to provide more details.

Is that server 2003 the proxy server ?
If not, can you ping the proxy ip address from that server ?
Have you defined some policies to restrict access to some users/machines in the proxy server ?
