An access path describes the order in which records are to be retrieved. When you describe an access path, you define whether it will be a keyed sequence or arrival sequence access path. The system ensures the integrity of an access path before you can use it. If the system determines that the access path is unusable, the system attempts to recover it. You can control when an access path will be recovered
