Access IBM Tools
he there. I don't know much about as400 client tools but I need their older versions for a deployment I busy working on. I We have a software delivery mechanism at our work place and have recently been asked to upgrade all older versions of as400/IBM client acces tools to the users. I have found that Access IBM Tools 4.0 and access IBM 4.51 are need to be upgraded.We are planning to do a silent uninstall of the older tool and re-deploy with a new one. We need the older versions to create the uninstall package individually.unfortunately the older copies were thrown out by the clean out team some time back(yeah silly i think when the tool is still being used) so know one can help from the company side. Anyone with a link or location were i can get this software would be much appreciated.

Access IBM Tools 4.0 and access IBM 4.51
I don’t know what either of those are or they’re not sparking memories. My first thought was versions of “Client Access” from IBM, but neither 4.0 nor 4.51 fits, AFAIK.
What do the products do?
Can you determine the actual product identifier? A ‘help’ or ‘About’ window or a Properties function should have the product ID. Maybe it’s just the name that isn’t clear, and a product ID will bring something to mind.
