I am converting our Access Database to a new fiscal year and have an encumbrance report that is supposed to start picking up services starting 7/1/2014 and it is calculating from the beginning of the placement, ie before 7/1/14 not after. The other report with the same formula is working fine. I can't figure out where else to look?  The formula I have in both Queries is - DAYS: IIf(([BEGIN]>=#7/1/2014# And [END]<=#7/1/2015#),([END]-[BEGIN]),(IIf(([BEGIN]<#7/1/2014# And [END]<=#7/1/2015#),([END]-#7/1/2014#),(IIf(([END]>#7/1/2015# And [BEGIN]>=#7/1/2014#),(#7/1/2015#-[BEGIN]),(IIf(([END]>#7/1/2015# And [BEGIN]<#7/1/2014#),(#7/1/2015#-#7/1/2014#),"Error, check dates")))))))  one is working, one is not.

As far as I can tell that formula is only being used to determine a  number of days, not to decide what records to include in the report.

If you want the report to include a different result set you need to look somewhere else, maybe in the SQL query that brings the records from the database.

    is that what you meant?
