 Access 2007 form from a query

I have an Access 2007 database that lists rules for specific types of systems. I've run the specific query to pull up the rules I need and put it in a form. The rules are un-editable and that is what I need but how do I get 1 field to be editable so the users can answer the questions posted by the rules listed above it? The answers are stored in a field in one of the tables used to create the query.
