AS/400
Hi, In active jobs that are running in AS/400 system - I would like to know the jobs that r IDLE for more then an Hr. I would like to write a program..to end those jobs automatically..as attimes because of limited sessions to the user profile..when by mistake users close AS/400 or powerfailure..their sessioin will be active and they will not be able to login again. So we want to find out the sessions that r active for more then 1 hr and want to END them automatically. So would like to know how can we find - IDLE item for active jobs. Thanks & Regards, Annie.

The reply from stanaci is exactly what you should be doing instead of writing a program to handle things the OS has feature for.

Dont forget 'QDSCJOBITV' as well. It will get those jobs disconnected by power failure etc. Regards, Nick
