 About SAAS, PAAS and IAAS

Hello there, As a Cloud user, if I subscribe for a PAAS Service from an service provider, am I locked in to subscribe for SaaS and IaaS from the same service provider or does the cloud technology allow me to subscribe for PaaS, SaaS and IaaS from different service provider of my choice.

I’m sure that it’s a technical possibility, but it’s hard to imagine a practical way to expect PAAS from one provider and SAAS from another, unless they involve completely separate projects. Plus IAAS…? It’d get real complicated real fast, I’m sure, if you expect useful integration among providers. Just IMO. — Tom
