Hi everyone,

And another thing is it's 5073 expansion unit does have an error code in its panel 1021A300. I also can't log in to the console. What should I do now? badly need your help. Thank you very much. God bless!

Do you have a service contract with either IBM or a BP?
Since it is one of your clients, are you a BP/
If so call IBM, when a machine is down, it is too important to be asking questions on the web and have to wait for answers.

i agree, if you have IBM support just log your case to them and let them solve it for you

I agree, call IBM. Level 1 issue (so you can't do an online request with them anyway.)  Since this is following a power outage, did the system go down hard? If so, the system might be rebuilding itself.

Well, I don't think that the management will allow me to call for any help from the IBM. Our company is not a business partner with them I don't think it is possible. That's why I trying to solve it on my own. Hopefully if I change the battery of 5073 expansion I can solve the problem. I think it is the cause of the problem.

    Hi everyone,
As what my research said, the problem would be the battery of the 5073 expansion unit. I already replaced the failing item, but I got the same error/problem. My second option would be replacing the power supply. If that works, I'll let you know. Is there any thing I can do to isolate the problem? Thanks for the help and replying. I really need your help guys.

    Regards,
    Randy

Are you replacing the power supply or are you paying someone to do it? If you are they may be familiar with this issues.

    Is your client down?
Is this issue is having an effect on business, you need to tell management that they will have to pay to get it resolved. When things break there is a cost to repair. No person in ANY department has all the knowledge to fix everything in their department. IF this were a software issue from bad code, yes, there should be more pressure on you. But is is hardware and you do not have a hardware person on staff.

Their machine is down for a week already!
I will do it on my own. I already replaced the battery, power supply and AC module. But I got the same problem. Thanks.

I did everything. I noticed that the main problem is in the storage unit. Now, it has 10217403 SRC code. It states that the AC module is the problem(+12V). So, I replaced the AC module twice, but I still have the same issue. The next thing would be replacing the card that handles the storage voltage regulator (#285B).
I am really running out of ideas on how to resolve this. I really badly need your help.
