A Smart Developer
VB 6.0, SQL Server 2005, BAS Modules, SQL tables
I have been out of touch from VB Programming for a long long time.

In front of me is a task and I am ambitious about doing it in a quick & smart way.

I work for a small businessman (a shop keeper) who buys Steel wireropes from wholesalers & sells it as a retailer.

Currently he has a manual (cash book) system in which receipts & payments are recorded & trial balance & BS & PnL are prepared at the close of month & year.

I wish to develop a simple accounting system in which these activities can be computerized.

My Choice is VB6 + SQL server system.

Can any body be generous enough to provide me :
1) Forms (BAS Modules, codes)
2) SQL Tables, Views layouts

Just initial foundational stuff, so that I can build the application above that.

Since what you're trying to do will take you a lot of time developing and debugging, I suggest you download instead QuickBooks Simple Start Free Edition (http://quickbooks.intuit.com/product/accounting-software/free-accounting-software.jsp).

If this is for a science project for school, go on.
