Windows XP and client v5r4m0. When user clicks the desktop icon for 5250 connectivity he goes directly to the green screen and the usual router log in screen is by passed. How can we restore the router log in screen? We have tried windows delete cached passwords but that doesn't seem to work.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

What software are you using for your 5250 emulation? Client Access? Within Client Access is the capability to auto logon.

In iSeries Access (aka Client Access) there is an option called "Bypass logon" that passes the Windows logon to the session. There is also a system value QRMTSIGN that can "force" all sessions to sign in.
