404 Error Received When Page Does Exist
Hello All, I am administering a Learning Management System. I am replacing AICC files due to changes in course content. Once I upload the new 'replacement' AICC files I am getting a 404 Error when attempting to launch the course (.html file) launch file. This is only happening for courses in which I have replaced the AICC files. The file and path are correct. I have checked them several times. Other people are able to successfully launch the same content (via the same method as me) successfully. I have come across one other person who is also getting the 404. Has anyone encountered another reason outside of the file actually NOT existing that a 404 displays? Thanks for your time. KA

The only time when I anything similar is when I had the file permissions wrong on the linux server. Easy way to test, set the file to 755 and see if that works

That is the thing that changes most often when updating a file is its ownership and rights. view the specs on a aicc file that works and check the one that you updated.

It sounds like a permissions problem also to me. Make sure you have the correct permissions.
