The beeps only happen when I remove the memory. I’m pretty sure the long beeps indicate it can’t find the ram (because I removed it)

3 of the motherboards have onboard video, one doesn’t. Same result with all of them. I have tried 3 other memory sticks all from different manufacturers. 1 of the motherboards is ddr and the other 3 are ddr2.
I only get beeps when everything is in except for the memory. Even than it still turns on by itself…
What would cause all these to turn on by themselves?

In the Bios is usually a setting…Revert to last state after power loss. By shutting off the power supply switch you are causing a power loss.

did try to discharging the static from the motherboard by holding removing the connector from the power going to the motherboard then press the power button for 5mins then relased it, then hook-up the power supply going to the motherboard by the way what kind of pwoer supply does your motherboard has ATX?be specific at this one. the next step is is the RAM have the same speed cycles?regardless of the size of it. make sure your using the same RAM you cant mixed a DDR rams w/ DDR2 rams on the same motherboards
