Recently I performed an AD migration for a client and had to uninstall an exchange 2007 email server from the root domain of the my client organization. For this ex. the email server name was ABC.
I then went and installled and created a new exchange 07 organization and email server in the child domain. I gave the email server a diff name for ex. xyz. Now when I go to demonstrate public folders it doesn't work.
It starts looking for the old 'abc' reference. Do I need to go onto the schema master and run adsi.msc and wipe out any reference to 'abc'?
Thank you Mr. Denny for answer to the above first question.
I do have a second question?
According to the answer I need to run 3 powershell commands.
Stupid question- Do I run this on the old email server where I unistalled exchange 2007 or do I run those powershell commands on the new email server?
