I'm not using the server as a router at this time. We also have no control over LAN1, the corporate network. The server is the only machine on the network that has access to the DSL line (LAN2). The DSL Router is configured as a VPN server for authorized users to VPN and remote connect to the server via LAN2. The application on this server sends out email notifications that need to be outbound via LAN2 as well because such traffic is denied by corporate (LAN1). Saturno suggests reconfiguring the two networks as one but will I be able to use both gateways? How do I configure and use two separate gateways with 2 NICs on one server? If I need to email someone ipconfig and route print screens, let me know.

Hello,

Sorry but for me you might be turning on what I usually call "the complication switch".

Tell me one thing: Is there any reasonable reason for you to have two networks?
If the primary job/function/whatever of that server is not fire-walling or routing traffic as it seems to, why should you bother with that kind of functionality - i.e. installing RRAS configuring it and administering that server....

From your scenario, if I were you, I just reconfigure those two networks into one.
All clients and server would be using the same network and all of them the same gateway (the one you already have).

Is there any reason preventing you to do so?

Please post back any further questions or details
